Sight Word Surprise......Water Color Easter Bunny & Eggs

This printable came from Heidi Songs!  The kids had the best time painting these pictures.  A white crayon was used to write the sight words on the eggs before they were painted.  I used 22 different sight words.  When the pictures were dry we used them as flash cards to practice our sight words.  Thanks Heidi!!!

Easter Bunny Feet

A friend of mine gave me this pattern.  It is so cute.  I know we get it, but the kids always say, "Where's his body?"  I try to explain that it's a poem about the Easter Bunnies feet.

The Ears Are The Best Part......

These bunnies are so cute.  The kids each got to eat a small chocolate bunny after we made these.  Most of the kids did bite the ear first!

Easter Bunny/Duck

I don't know if anyone has seen this pattern before, but it is a duck on one side and a bunny on the other side.  There is a cute little poem that we add to our bunny.
It says:  My easter bunny brings me luck, for when I turn him over he's a duck.

Chocolate Bunnies we made!

Fold a piece of construction paper in half length wise and trace the bunny pattern.  The kids cut it out and add the details.   Very cute!

They stand up like greeting cards.  Some of my girls got creative and added bows!
These are some the boys made.  I wondered why they all had red eyes (kinda scary....right?) but then it dawned on me, we currently have a little white bunny visiting our room and his eyes are pink.

Graphing Marshmallow Bunnies

This very cute worksheet came from Shannon over at
Thanks so much for the activity, my kids loved it.

I just recently discovered blogging!  I am so happy that I did!  My whole teaching world has changed because of it!  I was really big on searching the internet for teaching sites, when I stumbled upon the blogging world. What can I say......I am hooked!  I find blogging so much more personal and I love that!  I would like to begin posting some of the units that my class does each month.  Eventually, I would like to share worksheets and such as I learn more about blogging and how to add the worksheets.  I love creating new things in my classroom.  I absolutely love DJ inkers clip art (I am an addict when it comes to DJinkers) and creating things using this cute clipart.  Everyone has such creative names for their blogs and I couldn't decide on a name for mine.  I am a huge teddy bear collector and creator (Yes....I make teddy bears, and love that too). So i decided to combine both of my passions into the name for my blog......Kindergarten Teddies.

Thank you for stopping by, check back often as I hope to add more on a regular basis.
